“This is a poster for the 2019 film, Ford v Ferrari, a story about the grit & determination needed in the racing world. I grew up going to the track, loving the intensity of a race & in awe of the beautiful cars in the pit. As a young Black girl, I'm sure I stood out at the track, but it didn't matter. I was there for the love of the sport. It's the same in Design; I make what I make out of a love for Design, never letting the color of my skin keep me from where I need to be.”

“As a Black girl growing up in so many different environments, I was taught that my heritage requires a great deal of bravery to positively influence the narrative of what it means to be Black. As a creative, this bravery has been vital in having the courage to face challenges enthusiastically and make real change.”
