“[A] project I'm working on called "Faso Dein" ties into the theme of immigration/"alien" hood/ Reclamation of culture abroad. The animation is an example of this reclamation, having the character grabbing an artifact back from a museum scene, while, the Green Poster is a critique of the perception of immigrants, depicting a Wanted poster/UFO Sighting type graphic. [Another] piece [of mine] is a mockup depiction of what future textbooks should look like, lean, and actually informing us on our history from all POVs and angles.”
