“Black femme sitting under a sky of cotton pink clouds. She exudes her strength and power while being offset by her soft and delicate nature.”

BLACK & DELICATE

“As far back as I could remember being "black" has been deemed as being harsh and rough around the edges. As a black woman, I have noticed how other races of women are allowed to be "soft" in the eyes of the world. I chose to give you a visual representation of black and delicate, and to prove it is not an oxymoron. Black people are as soft and delicate just like any other race. It is time we normalize our softness and demand that we are handled as such.”
