DANIELLA GYAMBIBI

Daniella Gyambibi, WORKING NOT WORKING X WHERE ARE THE BLACK DESIGNERS

ILLUSTRATOR

“I would describe my artwork as serious fun: lots of serious expressions, but designed in a fun, colourful way.”

BLACK & PROUD

“When I was younger, I grew up predominantly with white people. Naturally, I stuck out and I used to wish I had long silky hair or fair skin. Now that I’m older and wiser, I am able to take more pride in my skin and features and realise that actually, being black is a joy and a blessing. I wouldn't trade my kinky hair, dark skin or culture for the world.”
