KADRIAN HINTON

Kadrian Hinton, WORKING NOT WORKING X WHERE ARE THE BLACK DESIGNERS

DESIGNER, ILLUSTRATOR

“This piece is called "Reaching for the Son". It is an ode to black women. Paired with this poem (authored by myself):

To be black and to be woman is to wish for just two arms.
To wish for one more to cover me from harm
To carry sweet wombs shaded by bitterness
Instead I’m left with infinite extensions of myself to carry my sons
To be black and to be woman is to wish for one arm to Reach the Son”
