“Walls is an art book about various street art found on walls throughout Baltimore City. This could include simple graffiti tags to large, scale painted murals. I chose to focus on neighborhood graffiti and digitally enhanced the artwork while making the surrounding world appear flat, lifeless, and muted. Alongside the photos are quotes from a diverse group of Baltimore-area creatives, residents, and students. Along with the book, I created a motion graphics piece to serve as an advertisement for the project where I created a parallax effect on the images.”. Link here.

“I have an overwhelming need for things to make sense and matter in some way so as a designer, I want my work to not only look good but convey clear intentions and sincerity. It has to have some semblance of depth to it. Whether its through narrative or intended purpose, it needs to mean something and have some weight to it.”
